This Privacy Policy explains what personal information NOVA Installation (“NOVA”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it and how we handle it. We are an installation and assembly company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
1. What the request form collects
When you send a request through the form on this website, we collect:
- your name;
- your phone number;
- the full address where the work is to be done;
- the service you selected, and whether you added old appliance haul-away;
- your preferred installation date;
- your email address, if you choose to give it (optional);
- your comment, if you choose to write one (optional).
The form also records which page of our website you sent it from. Please do not include sensitive information, such as payment card details, in the comment field. We do not take payments on this website.
2. Why we use it
- to contact you about your request and agree the date and time of the work with you;
- to prepare for and carry out the installation or assembly you asked for;
- to keep a record of your request and answer your questions about it;
- to protect the form from spam and misuse.
The form does not sign you up for newsletters or marketing messages.
3. Service providers we use
Netlify. This website is hosted by Netlify, and the request form is processed and stored by Netlify Forms. Netlify may also apply automated spam filtering to submissions and may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Email notifications. Each new request is sent as an email notification to the company mailbox, novainstallation.ltd@gmail.com, which is a Gmail address.
Google Calendar (planned). We plan to add each request automatically to the company’s Google Calendar as an all-day event on your preferred date. The event will include the details from your request, including your name, phone number and address, and will be marked as a new request awaiting confirmation. It is not a confirmed booking.
Phone, WhatsApp and email. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead of the form, we receive the details you give us. WhatsApp is operated by a third party under its own privacy terms.
Some of these providers are based outside Canada, and your information may be stored or processed in other countries, including the United States, where it may be accessible under the laws of that country.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not load third-party tracking or advertising scripts. We do not use cookies to track you across websites.
5. Sharing
We share your information only with the service providers described above, as needed to run the website and handle your request, and where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your request information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and for as long as the law requires.
7. Your choices
You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent to our using it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal requirements to keep it. To do so, email novainstallation.ltd@gmail.com or call 437 779 1259.
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Security
We rely on established providers to protect the information sent through this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
